Hebrew report The occupation doesn t understand Yemen and reproduces the Saudi failure
The Hebrew newspaper Globes published a report warning that the Israeli air strikes on Yemen, the latest of which was the extensive attack on the ports of Hudaydah and Al-Salif, do not lead to weakening the Sana’a government the (Al-Houthis),but on the contrary, strengthen their popular and political presence and increase their internal cohesion.

The report said that the attack, in which 15 Israeli fighter jets participated that traveled over 2,000 kilometers and dropped 35 shells, was described as a technical and military achievement, but in essence it lacks strategic insight, as the decision-makers in Tel Aviv believe that the Houthis will be affected by targeting infrastructure and supply sources, but the Yemeni reality refutes this assumption.
The report criticized what it described as the “Israeli intelligence ignorance,” represented in the belief that the Houthis are interested in the economic well-being of the areas they control. It affirms that this hypothesis is similar to the mistake made by successive occupation governments when they believed that Qatari grants would bring peace to Gaza. Just as economic suffering didn’t force Hamas to retreat, it does not appear that destruction or siege will force the Houthis to withdraw.
It confirmed that the Sana’a economy isn’t a traditional economy that can be pressured, given the tragic humanitarian reality in which more than eight million Yemenis live on World Food Program assistance, adding that the occupation is repeating the same mistake made by Saudi Arabia and the UAE during the previous years of the war, when they believed that intensive bombing would lead to the fall of the Houthis.
