Hebrew media The occupation uses nets for fear of Hezbollah drone attacks
Channel 15 Hebrew revealed that the Israeli occupation has so far installed approximately 158,000 square meters of protective nets in areas of southern Lebanon as part of measures aimed at reducing the threat of Hezbollah’s attack drones, which have targeted occupation sites and forces in recent months.

According to the channel, the Israeli occupation is also working to purchase an additional approximately 188,000 square meters of these nets amid escalating fears of repeated drone attacks, some of which have managed to penetrate monitoring and defense systems and reach Israeli military sites.
The channel indicated that this step comes after a series of attacks carried out by Hezbollah drones against military sites and gatherings of Israeli army soldiers, which pushed the security establishment to enhance field protection measures, especially in bases and sites near the Lebanese border.
During recent confrontations, Hezbollah repeatedly announced the execution of operations using drones targeting Israeli military sites, surveillance systems, and field forces, while the Israeli army admitted on more than one occasion to soldiers being killed and injured as a result of these attacks.
The Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed continuous tension since the outbreak of the war in the Gaza Strip, amid ongoing exchanges of shelling and airstrikes and rocket attacks between the two sides.
Scenes published almost daily by Hezbollah have topped the interest of media and political circles in Israel, especially clips documenting the direct targeting of Israeli army soldiers by booby-trapped drones inside Lebanese territory.
