The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli occupation has committed 2,400 violations of the ceasefire agreement since it came into effect last October until April 14, 2026.
In a comprehensive report marking six months since the agreement, the office confirmed that these systematic violations constitute a blatant breach of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the core of the humanitarian protocol attached to the agreement. The report indicated that the violations included 1,109 bombing and targeting incidents, 921 shooting incidents, 273 demolitions of homes and buildings, and 97 incursions by military vehicles into residential neighborhoods.
754 Martyrs
The statement emphasized that 99% of the victims were civilians targeted within their residential neighborhoods and far from the “yellow line.” This also applied to 50 detainees who were abducted from residential areas during the supposed truce.
754 Martyrs 41,714 trucks carrying aid, trade, and fuel entered the Gaza Strip out of the 110,400 trucks stipulated in the agreement, representing a compliance rate of only 37%. Meanwhile, the energy sector faced an even greater deficit, with only 1,366 fuel trucks entering out of the 9,200 trucks expected, representing a compliance rate of no more than 14%, and an average of 227 trucks per day for the region instead of 600 trucks per day.
The office appealed to US President Trump, mediators and international organizations to assume their legal and ethical responsibilities to oblige the occupation to fully implement its obligations, to ensure the immediate and safe flow of humanitarian aid and to address the worsening catastrophe in the sector.
