Gaza Health Ministry Death toll rises to 68 865 martyrs

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli war of extermination and starvation on the Strip has risen to 68,865 Palestinian martyrs, in addition to 170,670 wounded, since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the Ministry stated that Gaza Strip hospitals received seven martyrs in the past 24 hours, including three new martyrs, three whose bodies were recovered, and one who succumbed to his wounds, in addition to six other injuries.

The Ministry did not specify the circumstances of the seven Palestinian deaths or injuries. However, previous statements from the Government Media Office in Gaza and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that Israel committed dozens of violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli occupation army has also admitted in several previous statements to targeting Palestinians, claiming they crossed the temporary “yellow line” to which its forces withdrew under the agreement. This line covers more than 50% of the Gaza Strip and lacks clear demarcation, exposing Palestinians to direct Israeli targeting without warning.
