Gaza Death toll rises to 73 335 since the start of the offensive

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday the deaths of two Palestinians in the past 24 hours, one of whom succumbed to his injuries, in addition to 29 others wounded.

In a statement, the Ministry explained that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 1,209, while the number of wounded has reached 3,943, in addition to 803 bodies recovered.

The Ministry noted that the cumulative death toll since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,335, while the cumulative number of wounded has reached 174,052.

The Ministry confirmed that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
