Gaza 29 martyrs in 48 hours

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Saturday that 29 Palestinian martyrs arrived at the Strip’s hospitals in the past 48 hours, including 25 whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, in addition to 8 wounded.

The Ministry stated that the total number of martyrs and injuries since the start of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,266 martyrs and 171,219 wounded.

It indicated that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them so far due to the scale of the destruction and the dangerous conditions on the ground. In a related context, the ministry explained that since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, the number of martyrs from Israeli violations has risen to 414, in addition to 1,142 wounded, while 679 bodies of missing persons were recovered from under the rubble.
