Sana a Foreign Ministry The continuation of Israeli aggression on Gaza is a genocide crime and America is a principal partner
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sana’a government condemned the recent Israeli assaults on the Gaza Strip, considering the continued targeting of civilians and civilian objects a “genocide crime and a blatant violation” of international laws and the ceasefire agreement.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The ministry’s official statement confirmed that these attacks, which resulted in the fall of dozens of martyrs and wounded, represent “a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts aimed at solidifying the truce and multiplies the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe” being endured by the Palestinian people.
The statement stressed the necessity for the international community, “foremost the Security Council,” to carry out its legal and humanitarian responsibilities by taking immediate measures to stop the aggression and ensure the protection of civilians, in addition to securing safe and sustainable access for humanitarian aid to the Strip.
It also called on Arab and Islamic countries to “shoulder their moral and religious responsibilities” towards the Palestinian people and take practical steps to pressure the occupation to end its aggression and lift the siege imposed on Gaza.
The ministry reiterated its assertion that the US “bears full responsibility for the crimes committed against the Palestinians, as it is a principal partner of the Zionist entity in its ongoing aggression,” and concluded by reaffirming Yemen’s steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
