Foiling an American naval landing attempt in Iran

Iran revealed, on Monday, the details of a new naval battle with American forces. This comes amid anticipation of a new escalation in the region.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard detailed in a statement the specifics of Wave 98 of Operation “The True Promise 4,” which it executed today.
According to the statement, Iranian forces launched a swift attack on the American helicopter carrier and amphibious assault ship (LHA7) while it was transporting more than 5,000 Marine Corps infantry fighters. The attack forced the ship to immediately retreat and withdraw towards the depths of the southern Indian Ocean.
This is the first time the Revolutionary Guard has revealed an attempt by an American amphibious landing ship to advance, as it had previously carried out operations against the aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln.”
The targeting of the warship coincided with a series of operations targeting concentrations of American forces in several Gulf countries.
Iranian media quoted military sources confirming the fall of approximately 25 American officers and soldiers in a missile attack on a gathering center for American forces and trainers in the UAE, concurrently with the targeting of another gathering of American forces in Kuwait.
Also, in the UAE, the Revolutionary Guard confirmed the targeting of American aircraft and a joint drone factory with the Israeli occupation, resulting in its destruction.
The new strikes against American forces are focused preemptive operations that would abort American attempts at military escalation, especially as they come just hours before Trump’s threat to escalate in Iran, with him hinting at a ground war.
