First Official Israeli Confirmation of Providing the UAE with Iron Dome Missiles

In a first-of-its-kind admission by a senior Israeli official, the Israeli Communications Minister and Cabinet member, Miri Regev, revealed on Sunday that the UAE received Iron Dome interceptor missiles from “Israel,” an official confirmation of reports that have repeatedly spoken of close military and security cooperation between Abu Dhabi and “Tel Aviv.”
The Israeli newspaper “Maariv” quoted Regev as saying: “They realize that ballistic missiles are one of the biggest challenges, and the Emiratis are relying on us.”
The newspaper confirmed that “the minister’s statements constitute the first confirmation by an official Israeli source of reports that have been repeatedly published in Israel recently.”
For its part, “Channel 14” Israeli reported that “the minister and cabinet member Miri Regev confirms that Israel transferred Iron Dome batteries to the UAE during Operation ‘Roar of the Lion’.”
“Maariv” stated that “for the first time, a senior Israeli official confirms that the UAE received Iron Dome interceptor missiles from Israel,” noting that “the Emiratis relied on Israel in facing Iran and received from it Iron Dome interceptor missiles.”
This official Israeli admission reveals the extent of military and security cooperation between Abu Dhabi and “Tel Aviv,” which is no longer limited to intelligence sharing but has extended to include the transfer of advanced defense systems to protect the UAE from Iranian missiles.
Observers believe that this admission exposes the fact that the “Abraham Accords” were never about peace but were a cover to turn Gulf countries into forward bases for the Israeli security and military system.
