families displaced in Beit Lahia during the middle of the night

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that approximately 30 families were displaced from the Beit Lahia area in the North Gaza Governorate during the night, following an advance of tanks toward the Atatra Junction.

Reports also indicated that a drone dropped incendiary munitions, setting three tents ablaze. While most families were able to return after the Israeli forces withdrew, six families remained displaced due to the placement of a yellow concrete block near their homes.

The placement of such blocks is indicative of the expansion of the so-called “Yellow Line,” an area where, according to UN human rights officials, lethal force has been repeatedly used.
