Sana a hints at an escalatory path to achieve the demands of the Yemeni people and holds Saudi Arabia responsible
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Sana’a hinted today at taking an escalatory path to achieve the demands of the Yemeni people to lift restrictions on airports and ports and pay salaries, holding the Saudi regime fully responsible for the consequences of any escalation.
A member of the Sana’a delegation for political consultations, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, affirmed today that “the pressure to achieve the demands of the Yemeni people to lift restrictions on airports and ports and pay salaries will take an escalatory path,” stressing that “there is no room for retreat except through a serious response to the basic living and humanitarian entitlements.”
Al-Ajri clarified that “the Saudi regime bears full responsibility for the consequences of escalating confrontation,” a clear warning that any Saudi procrastination in meeting humanitarian demands will be met with gradual escalation by Sana’a.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have been imposing the “siege-for-siege” equation on Saudi navigation since July 20, inflicting significant losses on the Saudi economy.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have executed a series of qualitative operations targeting Saudi oil infrastructure, within the framework of the “escalation-for-escalation” equation.
Observers believe that Al-Ajri’s statements carry a clear message to the Saudi regime, namely that Sana’a will not retreat from its humanitarian demands, and that any procrastination in meeting these demands will be met with gradual escalation, which may include expanding the scope of military operations to target new objectives.
They indicate that the Saudi regime faces limited options, between responding to humanitarian demands and leaning towards peace, or facing a military and economic escalation that may be more painful than any previous war.
