Military affairs researcher Zakaria Al-Sharabi confirmed that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, which was launched on October 7, 2023, constituted a strategic earthquake that radically changed the rules of the game and toppled the Zionist security doctrine that had for decades represented a cornerstone of the entity’s existence.
In a television interview on the “Files” program on Al-Masirah channel, Al-Sharabi described “Al-Aqsa Flood” as a “radical turning point” whose repercussions are not limited to the Arab-Zionist conflict or the region alone but extend to include the entire world.
He explained that the operation succeeded in shattering the image of the alleged military and moral superiority of the Israeli enemy entity and exposed the fragility of its security structure to the world, emphasizing that “Al-Aqsa Flood” was a pivotal event from its very first moments, as it completely changed the rules of engagement by launching a preemptive attack inside the occupied territories.
He explained that the resistance’s initiative to attack, instead of waiting for the enemy’s action, dismantled all the pillars upon which the Zionist security doctrine was built, foremost among them “early warning,” as the intelligence and prediction systems failed to detect an operation of this scale and complexity.
He pointed out that it defeated the strategy of deterrence, shattered the image of the “invincible army” and its ability to prevent its adversaries from considering attacking it, and also revealed the inability of the Zionist defenses to repel the initial attack and protect its strategic depth.
