The military confrontation between Sana’a and the Saudi coalition has entered a new phase characterized by the forced imposition of equations, following a strategic shift by the Yemeni Armed Forces in Sana’a that succeeded in shackling Saudi navigation and dismantling field mobilization bets, linking Riyadh’s stability to ending the war and siege that have continued since March 2015.

With a wide operational harvest extending over a month, field data has proven Sana’a’s success in establishing three deterrence equations. The first is “siege with siege” by choking Saudi navigation. The third is “protecting sovereignty” through immediate response to any aerial violations or targeting of Yemeni facilities.
Military statistics issued today by the spokesman for the Yemeni forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, for the period from July 20 to August 19, revealed a qualitative operational harvest that included navigation routes, the Saudi depth, and field mobilization sites.
In the naval blockade battle, the Yemeni forces targeted 8 Saudi oil ships, 5 of them in the Red Sea and 3 in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea. They also prevented 48 other Saudi oil ships from crossing and forced them to retreat, 34 of them in the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean and 14 in the Red Sea, imposing a state of near-total paralysis on Riyadh’s oil tanker movement.
In response to the targeting of Sana’a Airport, Hudaydah Port, and aerial violations in Sa’ada and Hajjah, the Armed Forces carried out 9 military operations targeting the vital and oil depth of Saudi Arabia in Yanbu, Najran, Jizan, Abha, and oil supplies in the eastern region.
