A human rights report documents victims and destruction of 11 years of war on Yemen Al Houthi calls for official and popular integration to end the blockade

The ongoing Saudi war and blockade on Yemen since March 2015 have resulted in 60,891 civilian casualties between martyrs and wounded, including 24,708 martyrs and 36,183 wounded. The victims are distributed as follows: 17,695 martyrs and 27,264 wounded men; 4,362 child martyrs and 5,571 wounded children; in addition to 2,651 female martyrs and 3,348 wounded women.

These shocking figures came in a new documentation statistic issued by the ” Eye of Humanity for Rights and Development” center on Thursday evening, documenting the toll of 4,100 days of continuous war crimes and blockade for more than eleven years. It revealed massive destruction of infrastructure, including the targeting of 16 airports, 17 ports, 491 power stations, 718 communication stations, 3,608 water networks, 2,544 government facilities, and 9,017 roads and bridges, in addition to the destruction of 623,599 homes, 2,031 mosques, 204 university facilities, 1,510 schools, 476 hospitals and health facilities, 304 archaeological sites, and 75 media facilities.
On the economic and productive front, the center documented the destruction of 470 factories, 16,798 commercial facilities, 739 markets, 644 fuel tankers, 568 fuel stations, 1,178 food warehouses, and 1,533 food trucks, in addition to damage to the agricultural and livestock sector through the targeting of 14,538 agricultural fields, 506 poultry and livestock farms, 12,554 means of transportation, and 586 fishing boats, confirming that these indicators reflect the scale of the unprecedented humanitarian tragedy caused by the systematic targeting.
