Iran destroys two American THAAD systems in the UAE and West Asia affirming the restoration of its missile capability
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran announced on Tuesday the destruction of two American “THAAD” missile defense systems in two separate locations in West Asia, as part of Operations “True Promise 4,” which is continuing for the fourth day in a row.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Revolutionary Guard explained in a military release that the Aerospace Force targeted the second “THAAD” system in West Asia with precision missiles, confirming it has been completely taken out of operational service, hours after its announcement on Monday of destroying the radar of the “THAAD” system stationed at the Al-Ruwais base in the UAE.
The statement affirmed that the missile arm of the Islamic Republic of Iran has regained its ability to successfully hit its targets after destroying these two systems, in a clear message about the effectiveness and precision of the Iranian strikes.
In a related context, the American agency “Bloomberg” quoted the director of the International Security Program at “Chatham House,” Marion Messmer, confirming that Iran is deliberately trying to deplete American air defense systems and missile stockpiles through its ongoing attacks targeting American bases and interests in the region.
For the fourth consecutive day, Iran continues to launch intensive missile and drone attacks in the Gulf and the Israeli occupation entity in response to the American-Israeli aggressions that began at dawn last Saturday, which led to the martyrdom of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and hundreds of martyrs among leaders and citizens.
