The spokesman for Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced a new strategic achievement for their air defenses, resulting in the downing of two new Saudi combat reconnaissance drones in the skies of Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda governorates, raising the total of targeted aircraft in the past 24 hours to three.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Brigadier General Saree reported that Sana’a air defenses managed to “shoot down a Chinese-made CH4 armed reconnaissance drone belonging to the Saudi enemy, while it was carrying out hostile activities in the airspace of the Khab and Al-Shaaf district in Al-Jawf governorate, by targeting it with an appropriate weapon.”
In another announcement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed the success of the air defenses in downing a second “Wing Loong II” armed reconnaissance drone belonging to Saudi Arabia, while it was carrying out hostile missions this morning in the airspace of Al-Bayda governorate with an appropriate weapon.
The spokesman for Sana’a forces indicated that the Al-Bayda drone is the third to be downed in the past 24 hours, referring to the notable acceleration in the efficiency of aerial confrontation and the downing of Saudi drone violations.
Brigadier General Saree had announced yesterday, Sunday, the downing of a combat reconnaissance drone of the same type, “Wing Loong II,” belonging to Saudi Arabia, with appropriate weapons, in the airspace of the northwest of Maqbanah district in Taiz governorate.
These successive strikes by Sana’a air defenses reflect the escalating deterrent capabilities and the thwarting of Saudi espionage and field mobilizations on various axes and fronts, according to observers.
