Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced today that the Israeli occupation army has refused, for the second consecutive week, coordination requests to allow rescue crews to enter areas populated with civilians, including wounded individuals in urgent need of care.
The Civil Defense confirmed that the areas the occupation still prevents access to include Al-Zarqa, Al-Mahatta, east of the tunnel in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, the Al-Sabra area, and Tal Al-Hawa in the Al-Rimal southern neighborhood, noting that distress calls have been received from these areas.
The statement indicated that a number of wounded individuals trapped in these areas died, while some of their relatives managed to extract others and transport them to hospitals under extremely dangerous conditions.
The Civil Defense warned that the continued siege on thousands of citizens in these areas endangers their lives, especially in light of preventing the basic necessities of life from reaching them.
The statement also reported that the number of martyrs has risen to 8, including 4 children, as a result of an Israeli bombardment that targeted a gathering of citizens in the Al-Sadrah area east of Gaza City.
