Red Crescent 40 Palestinians evacuated through Rafah crossing amid Israeli restrictions

On Monday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced its participation in the evacuation of 40 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt. And the association stated in a statement, this evening, that it “participated in the evacuation of the sixth batch of patients and humanitarian cases through the Rafah crossing, which included 40 citizens, 20 patients and 20 escorts, to receive treatment in hospitals outside the sector.” The association stated that the patients were prepared inside its medical rehabilitation hospital, in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, in the presence of representatives of the World Health Organization. On Monday morning, the sixth batch of Palestinians wishing to return to the Gaza Strip arrived at the Rafah crossing from the Egyptian side, as part of the continuation of the crossing movement through the crossing in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Strip. According to press sources, the departure of the sixth batch of patients and wounded in the Gaza Strip, towards the Rafah crossing, from the Palestinian Red Crescent headquarters. Yesterday evening, the fifth batch of people coming from Egypt arrived through the Rafah crossing to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
