UNRWA Commissioner General calls for international media access to Gaza to expose the truth about the atrocities

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini confirmed that Israel has been preventing international journalists from accessing the Gaza Strip since the start of the war nearly two years ago, preventing them from covering events directly and transparently.

Lazzarini highlighted the importance of allowing international media access to the Strip, emphasizing that this supports the heroic work of their Palestinian colleagues who report the facts despite the great risks.

He said that the presence of international media is the only way to counter media disinformation that downplays the atrocities committed by Israeli forces against civilians in Gaza, emphasizing the need to break the media blockade to reveal the truth to the world.
