Burning new ships in Hormuz while America attempts to open it by force
Confrontations intensified in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, as Iranian forces foiled desperate American attempts to open it by force.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Both South Korea and the UAE, allies of the US, acknowledged that their oil ships were targeted in Hormuz in recent hours. The Emirati tanker belongs to “ADNOC,” the country’s largest oil company, while the Korean one is named “HMM.” The Korean Foreign Ministry expressed concern for the fate of the 24-member crew.
The revelation of two ships flying the American flag being targeted came on the eve of America’s claim that its forces successfully escorted two ships out of Hormuz. It is unclear whether these were the same two ships Trump spoke about or others, but the timing of the targeting confirms that the US attempted to sacrifice the Korean and Emirati ships in an attempt to implement a plan to open the strait by force.
Although Iran has not yet claimed responsibility for the two incidents, the targeting of these two ships is a new indicator of the scale of the disaster that occurred in the strait as American forces launched a new operation under the banner of “Project Freedom.” According to Iranian media, an American warship was hit in the confrontations.
