Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed the failure of the US to subdue Iran and emphasized the continuation of operations and the rejection of a ceasefire without guarantees.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Araghchi said that Iran will target American interests wherever they exist and that any country participating in these interests will be considered a legitimate target.
Araghchi explained in an interview with Iranian television that the enemy has failed to push Iran into surrender, dividing the country, changing the regime, or breaking social cohesion, noting that people go out into the streets every night to express their support for the armed forces and the system.
He added that missile barrages continue as they did on the first day, noting that American bases in the region were used to carry out operations against Iran.
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Araghchi said that Iran allowed passage to China, Russia, India, Iraq, Pakistan, and some countries it classified as friendly nations, affirming that there is no reason to allow enemies to transit.
Araghchi indicated that there will be new arrangements for transit through the Strait of Hormuz after the war.
He noted that talk about negotiations at the present time is an admission of defeat after the other side had demanded unconditional surrender, stressing that no negotiations have taken place so far and that a ceasefire without guarantees will lead to a repeat of the war.
He also emphasized that the enemy must receive a lesson that prevents it from thinking again about launching any attack and that the losses inflicted on the Iranian people must be compensated.
