Ansar Allah Leader warns Trump s Council will not bring peace but will arm Israel

Ansar Allah Movement leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi described the so-called “Trump Peace Council” as a tool for bullying and seizing the wealth of peoples, pointing out that its declared priorities in the Gaza Strip are disarming Palestinians of personal weapons, while his real ambitions focus on the oil and gas resources in the Strip’s territorial waters.

Al-Houthi questioned, coinciding with the start date of the “second phase” of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, its usefulness, saying, “What has been implemented in the first phase by the Israeli and American side? And what is the scale of violations and failure to meet commitments?”
Regarding the so-called “Peace Council,” Al-Houthi said, “Trump’s council, in reality, seeks dominance, bullying, tyranny, amassing money, and seizing the interests and wealth of peoples.” He added that Trump’s own personality represents “the character of the Zionist orientation and American, Israeli, British, and Western greed.”
Regarding the council’s priorities in Gaza, Al-Houthi explained, “The priority of Trump’s council for the so-called second phase in the Gaza Strip is disarmament, the ordinary personal weapons of the Palestinian people,” while “Trump has expressed his projects, dreams, ambitions, and desires for investment activities in the Gaza Strip and the territorial waters of Gaza and their oil and gas resources.”
The leader of the Ansar Allah movement warned Arab countries that might join this council, stressing that it “will not meet the hopes and aspirations that Arabs and Muslims expect, even for the regimes that joined it,” because it will focus “primarily on American and Israeli interests, while exploiting others and benefiting from them.”
He concluded his remarks on the American regional project by saying, “The American project in the region is a project of targeting, seizure, control, plundering resources, and at the same time removing any obstacle,” affirming
