American report Precise Iranian strikes hit key junctures of US deterrence in the Middle East
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Recent satellite images, along with military analyses, have revealed remarkable precision in the recent Iranian strikes that targeted sensitive US military sites in the UAE and a number of American bases in other countries in the region, directly targeting centers linked to defense and early warning systems.
According to what the American network “CNN” reported, the operations carried out by the Iranian army and the Revolutionary Guard were not random strikes but rather appeared closer to precise military operations designed to disrupt the surveillance and monitoring capabilities of US forces and their allies.
This, according to expert assessments, has caused widespread confusion in operational performance and raised questions about the effectiveness of advanced protection systems deployed in the region.
Regarding the extent of the damage, the network’s data based on field image analysis showed that three main buildings within a military facility near the Al-Ruwais area in the UAE sustained significant damage, while four other buildings in the Sader area were destroyed.
The importance of these sites lies in their housing of storage facilities and logistical systems linked to the “THAAD” missile defense system, which the US relies on to intercept ballistic missiles, meaning the strikes hit sensitive points in the regional deterrence system.
CNN also quoted military experts as saying that the strikes resulted in the loss of an “AN-TPY-2” radar, a critical component for operating missile defense systems and considered the main control center for them.
Experts believe that losing this radar represents a major operational setback, given its technical complexity and the difficulty of replacing it or restarting a similar system within a short period, which could lead to a gap in radar coverage in the region.
In a related context, data indicates that the Iranian attacks followed a systematic approach aimed at
